1801806 - can't download any url end with "target.apk"

Steps to reproduce:

when i download https://www.makemusic-asia.com/apk/target.apk
download failed, but if a change the name to t.apk(https://www.makemusic-asia.com/apk/t.apk), download will successed, and i tried some empty files https://www.makemusic-asia.com/null/target.apk failed
https://www.makemusic-asia.com/null/target.apk.1 successed
https://www.makemusic-asia.com/null/target.ap successed

QA, can you please verify whether Fenix and Focus successfully download the file when you tap the https://www.makemusic-asia.com/null/target.apk and https://www.makemusic-asia.com/null/target.ap (note the .ap filename extension has no k!) links? What does Chrome do when you tap on the https://www.makemusic-asia.com/null/target.apk link? Does entering the URL directly into Fenix's or Focus's address bar behave differently than tapping the links on this bug page?

If this problem happens in Fenix, but not Focus, then the fix will be in the Fenix code. If this problem happens in both Fenix and Focus, then the fix will be in the GeckoView code.

Hello!

As far as I've tested, Chrome Mobile fails to download the files as well (from both links). Chrome shows a message that the download couldn't complete.
I've tested this on Firefox RC 109.1.1, Firefox Beta 110.0b3 and latest Nightly from 25th of January 2023 (111.0a1). The file from the https://www.makemusic-asia.com/null/target.apk successfully downloads, but the file size is 0.0kb. The same result is present when downloading the file from second link (https://www.makemusic-asia.com/null/target.ap).
Firefox Focus has the same behaviour as Fenix on the latest Focus Nightly from 25th of January (111.0a1), Firefox Focus RC 109.1.1 and Firefox Focus Beta 110.0b2.

The behaviours are all the same when tapping the link from this bugzilla page and when typing the link manually in the address bar.
Also tested apk files from other servers and they are downloaded properly so this could be more of a site/server issue than a Firefox issue.

Tested on: Oppo Find X3 Neo (Android 11), Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra (Android 13).
