I will test this once after I got a new Android phone. Note that I can't see the issue on Android emulator but the accessibility feature is slightly different at least on Android emulator v7.

Is this exclusively an Android 11 bug? Can't reproduce on my Pixel 6a with Android 13.

If this is indeed still a bug I gave it an access-s1 priority because renders Firefox useless with a magnifier.

The severity field for this bug is set to S3. However, the accessibility severity is higher, [access-s1].
:botond, could you consider increasing the severity?

Coincidently the new phone I got is also pixel 6a but fortunately the version is still Android 12 so it's different from Eitan's one. Anyway I can't reproduce the issue on the Pixel6a with Android 12.
As Eitan mentions, this is probably an issue on Android specifically older versions. If we will do some workarounds for this issue, GeckoView would be a reasonable place I think.

People are saying this still happens on Android 11. This is not a particularly old version of Android and makes up around 25% of our users.

Bryan, this a11y bug is an "access-s1" severity bug that was scheduled for [geckoview:m112], but it wasn't rolled over into 113. The bug breaks tapping links when using the zoom magnifier on Android <= 11. I think we should consider this bug for 113 or 114.
