It appears that the EarthExplorer Java applet uses the orignal Java
security model, which means it won't run with Java2 VMs like the
one that is available for Mozilla/Netscape 6+, and the web site
admins know it (see attached HTML error page; added <head> tag,
<base> tag and commented out extra </html> tag in the document).

Still, it would be nice if they could find some U.S. tax dollars to
upgrade the Java applet to a more recent VM.

Found this through a Slashdot article about Cold War spy pictures
being declassified.

They do provide a javascript version which works with mozilla so I am mrking
this one fixed.
