  • Should make fixing bug 1801745 a bit easier
  • Simplifies stuff
  • Fixes a bunch of small usability issues. For example, in the current implementation, it's possible to select text on the page while a dialog is opened, this is not good and looks very weird.
  • Fixes bug where you can tab to a hyperlink that is behind the dialog

I still think this is a good idea but the approach in this old patch is not the best. Should probably investigate using reusable components
