On my MacBook Pro M1 Max, OS 12.2, when opening about:support, the Codec Support Information part is incorrect.

On my Firefox Release 107, I can't see Codec Support Information tab in about:support. On my Nightly 109, I can see Codec Support Information, but its content is wrong. I have H264 HW in this laptop, but it only shows supporting H264 SW.

Thanks, will take a look at this.

Updating to note that it looks like we've had two other bugs tangentially related to checking the kVTDecompressionPropertyKey_UsingHardwareAcceleratedVideoDecoder property with VTSessionCopyProperty, M1 Macs in particular, and this call is used to determine whether or not HW decode is supported here. Some relevant comments from the other bugs are this comment and this one. I'll see if I can find a solution.
