Steps to reproduce:

I watched a video on youtube, where SuperThanks is allowed to fund the youtuber:

I wanted to donate tham some money and wanted to edit the comment for the donation. I am not able to edit the text for the donation. I had to switch to other browser to be able to do so. Please fix editing of comments for super thanks on youtube.

Actual results:

I was able to select the ammount of money for donation and a general "Thank you" comment appeared in my local Slovak language as a comment for the donation. I was not able to edit this text.

Expected results:

In Google Chrome it is possible to edit the comment for the donation. It should be possible in FF as well. But is not.

Reproducible across all current Firefox versions on MacOS 11 and Windows 10 as well.

  • It doesn't seem to be a regression, I was able to reproduce it on a Nightly 71.0a1 build from 2019.
