Hello,

I'd like for people on the hubs team to be granted access to the mixed_reality_hubs group (https://sql.telemetry.mozilla.org/groups/21), and for folks who are no longer at Mozilla to be removed from that group.

I'm also hoping this grants access to the hubs dashboard, but I am not very familiar with this system so want to ask to be sure. (https://sql.telemetry.mozilla.org/dashboard/mozilla-hubs).

The hubs team includes everyone who reports up to Liv Erickson (https://people.mozilla.org/o/highlight/liv)

The folks who should have access are:

Liv Erickson
Elgin-Skye McLaren
Jacob Ervin
Michael Morran
Stephen Flach
John Shaughnessy
Brandon Patterson
Bryan Enders
Christian Van Meurs
Dominick D'Aniello
Geng Tan
James Conrad
Manuel Martin
Nick Grato
Robin Wilson
Takahiro Aoyagi
Yan Ou
Matt Cool
Regan Norton
Anais Ron
Dan Fernie-Harper
Kate Taylor
Matt Croud
Valerian Denis
Aurelia Grego

Also people who don't report to Liv:
Hee-Yoon Choi
Jaspreet Monga

If this is a big task, then the user who most immediately would benefit from having access is Bryan Enders. If we can prioritize adding her first, that would be very helpful.

Thank you!

(I found my way to this page from this documentation: https://docs.telemetry.mozilla.org/concepts/gaining_access.html)

I just read in the docs that while STMO is not deprecated, Looker is the preferred system for making metrics and docs.

Since the hubs team will likely revisit their metric collection / analytics early next year, it might make sense just to add the few folks from the list who may need access sooner rather than "someday in the future" (since "the future" might be in Looker, not STMO).

The people who I'd like to make sure have access are:

Bryan Enders
Yan Ou
Geng Tan

By the way, no one on my team is familiar enough with these dashboards to identify the source of truth for the data warehouse we're querying. This information seems to have left with Mozillians who have left the company.

Would anyone the data / ops team happen to know where the ret0_dw database we're querying lives and is configured? The primary motivation for wanting to give Bryan, Geng, and Yan access to the dashboard is that we've been trying to track down information about this ret0_dw, as information about it in our database is preventing us from running a migration.

(Here I hit the limit of my knowledge about the issue, but if anyone knows where we can find more information about this data warehouse, that would be very helpful.)

Edit: Sorry for the noise -- ret0_dw is a view in our postgresql database. This comment can be ignored.

We've resolved the immediate issue that led to this ticket. If next year we need to alter access rights in STMO, I'll refile a (simpler) ticket.

Closing this for now.
