the latest builds don't show any more favicon in the Favorites (Toolbar).

I did (re-)add the line

user_pref("browser.chrome.favicons", true);

to my prefs.js file but it does have no more effect. All favorites show the
default icon. Worked fine up including the first 0.6 release.

I'd love to see an option in the Preferences dialog to turn this feature on or off.

Norbert, do you have a line in your user.js disabling it?

Where should I have this file?
I searched my complete Home folder for "user.js" and did not find anything.

Favicons are on by default now. One reason that you might not see them is that
we lose the disk cache if you quit from the menu (rather than Command-Q) (bugs
are filed).

I tried the following:
I removed the complete "Chimera" folder from Application Support and restarted
Chimera. When I opened a page with a favicon I could drag it to the toolbar and
when quitting using the menu the icon was gone after restart.
So I tried again and quit with Cmd-Q and it was still there when I reopend
Chimera, but only in the Favorites Bar, not on the Drawer. So you're right so far.

But when I drag the favorite into a folder the favicon does not show up at all. 
As all my favorites are in folders or in the Drawer it's obvious from that that
they don't come back.

Norbert, it is known that the bookmarks drawers, does not draw favicons. they
should still appear in the URL bar when you open them.
