Is the content embargoed (yes or no)?
no
What current go-to-market plans, timelines, or milestones exist?
We are hoping to ship this in Firefox 110, although it is possible it will slip.
Please include any related JIRA/Github/Bugzilla tickets, documentation, demos or practical use cases.
There's already some existing SUMO documentation for about:third-party. This feature adds a block button to each of the modules in that list. Blocking the module will prevent it from loading in Firefox, which can be useful if the module has caused Firefox to crash before.
No blocking is done if Firefox is launched in Troubleshoot Mode (formerly Safe Mode), or if it is launched with the --disableDynamicBlocklist command-line argument.
Please add instructions for testing or links to any design assets or visuals.
See the test plan in JIRA.
Does the content need to be localized in any languages outside of our priority locales (yes or no)?
no
Does the content require legal review (yes or no)?
no

See also bug 1744362 comment 40 on release notes request for version 110 (quote) "[Links (documentation, blog post, etc)]: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/identify-problems-third-party-modules-firefox-windows (this page has not been updated yet)
Thanks for flagging this. We're preparing an update to show the block/unblock icon in https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/identify-problems-third-party-modules-firefox-window. It should go live this week, I'll ask Greg to give the draft one last pass.

Fabi, I see you have an update pending to the KB article and I made a small edit in a new revision. Is it ready for approval?
See https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/identify-problems-third-party-modules-firefox-windows/history
Thanks, Alice. Yes, this is ready. I just marked it for localization.
