Steps to reproduce:

I've run apt-get install firefox on a Debian sid/unstable system. This installed version 108.0-1. Then I run "firefox" from a console.

Actual results:

Trying to launch firefox (from a console) results in a crash with the following error message:

XPCOMGlueLoad error for file /usr/lib/firefox/libnssutil3.so:
/usr/lib/firefox/libnssutil3.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Couldn't load XPCOM.

Furthermore, the file "/usr/lib/firefox/libnssutil3.so" does not exisst in my filesystem.

Expected results:

No crash.

Adding the QA-Not-Actionable for now until we get our hands on a Debian sid machine, hopefully one of our devs can take a look and might be able to reproduce this issue on their end.

If it is related to Bug 1795087 we can change the component for this issue to Security:PSM.

We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of
firefox, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive.
