Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/109.0

Steps to reproduce:

  1. open some other tabs (doesn't matter what sites);

  2. Visit following page in firefox beta (109B2):

https://news.mit.edu/2022/small-studies-40hz-sensory-stimulation-confirm-safety-suggest-alzheimers-benefits-1213

Now, with NVDA screen reader running, press control+tab to switch to another opened tab.

Actual results:

Some random content (an image description) from the URL listed above is read!

this does not happen with latest released version (107.0.1).

Expected results:

The title of the open tabs should have been read as you move through them with control+tab.

I can't reproduce this. Can you give a precise example of the speech output you're getting, perhaps using the Speech Viewer? Also, does this change if you move your mouse somewhere else?

Oh, seems it only happens if the tab gaining focus with control+tab is empty. Again, however, this does not happen on firefox 107.0.1.

I still can't reproduce it even with an empty tab. Please see my other questions in comment 1.
