Steps to reproduce:

Started up Thunderbird.

Actual results:

Got two password requests. Both dialogs displayed simultaneously.

Bug 1685877 is back.

Expected results:

Just one password request.

This is not happening to me on beta.

Dough, what type of password request is it?

  • Primary password (aka master password)?
  • POP/IMAP?
  • How many accounts do you have and how many of those require password input?
  • Have you tried saving the password in Thunderbird?
  • Can you attach a screenshot? Attach New File button above comment 0 (black out private data)
