User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:108.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/108.0
Steps to reproduce:
- define a filter which forwards messages on 'Getting new Mail'
- receive more than 3 mails that match the filter
Actual results:
Only the first 3 messages are forwarded. For any next msg, a dropdown opens to say, TH has no more channels available
Expected results:
More channels or withhold message until a channel gets avalable

What do you mean by that? Sounds like functionality from some add-on.

No, thats not an add-on. Open Tools|Messagefilters and click New. Under 'Apply filter when:' it is the 2nd checkbox.
That means: filter is applied to incoming mails.
The issue occurs, if more than 3 mails match the filter at the same time.

Ah, I see.
For any next msg, a dropdown opens to say, TH has no more channels available
Can you provide a screenshot?

This message pops up for every message which is forwarded in a batch, except for the first 3.
Seems to be a restriction of t-online.de, which is not handled by TB. The user has no influence, so TB should handle this condition by delaying mails to be forwarded, until a channel gets available.

How would Thunderbird know "a channel gets available"?
It's possible bug 136871 resolved this in another way, so try beta. Other than that' nothing we could do about it.
