1806806 - proxy password and user pop up repeatedly

Steps to reproduce:

I have to use a proxy to search academic papers so I downloaded and installed FF to use proxy trough a browser session

I correctly set the proxy settings but every time I close and open FF ask me the credential again and again. There is non "save the password" checkbox, I tried to switch the boolean operators in :config as someone previously advice

I tried to manually save a new password and user in the password manager setting the moz-proxy://"proxy.url":"xxxx"

Actual results:

nothing helped the login is asked every time I close and open

Expected results:

Hopefully the pass have to be saved and not asked again and again
