Steps to reproduce

  1. Launch the Firefox app.
  2. Go to www.instagram.com website.
  3. Zoom in on the open web page.

Expected behaviour

Instagram app can't be zoomed when switch is set to OFF

Instagram app can be zoomed when switch is set to OFF

This issue is also reproducible on Firefox 109.0b3.
This issue is not reproducible on the Firefox 108.1.0.
This issue was not reproducible on other devices.

Change performed by the Move to Bugzilla add-on.

Based on https://github.com/mozilla-mobile/fenix/issues/28290#issuecomment-1362906975 the website can be zoomed also on the latest version of Chrome but it could not be zoomed on previous versions of Firefox - 107, 108.

In the screen cast in the original report, it looks like the device is a tablet.

With "Kindle Fire HDX Linux, I do see <meta id="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1, minimum-scale=1, maximum-scale=2, viewport-fit=cover">.
