Steps to reproduce:

Updated FF.

Actual results:

All add ons automatically disables and no "re enable" link or way other than delete, then find and reinstall. Every. Single. One. Every. Single. Update.

Expected results:

Adds on not fucked with just because I updated FF. OR..., a quicker way to reinstall (automatic?) all the add ons that keep constant flash and vid ads at bay.

What do you mean by "no enable" button? Could you share a screenshot of the Add-ons manager, and more information from your profile as explained at https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1801698#c16 ?

All your add-ons should be listed under about:addons page and their state should not be changed by a Firefox update. Please add the information that Rob Wu mentioned in comment#2 in order for us to help you. Thank you.

Hello,

I could not reproduce the issue on Firefox 108.0 updated to the latest Firefox 108.0.1 under Windows 10 x64 and Ubuntu 16.04 LTS.

As per Comment 0 which mentions add-ons for adblocking, I installed the following: AdBlocker for YouTube, AdBlocker Ultimate, AdGuard AdBlocker, Block Site, Ghostery and uBlock Origin on Firefox 108.0 and then proceeded to update the browser to the latest version 108.0.1.
Upon browser restart following the update, all previously installed add-ons were still installed and enabled.

Without further information we cannot investigate this bug.

Just now back on, went to Opera, no issues with loosing things on upgrades. But came back for this. Did upgrade to 108.0.2, the .1 upgrade did a curious thing, resetting my about:config info in regards to autoplay of vids, the reason I was totally pissed about losing my addons in the first place (to block the fucking autoplay vids on practically every site out there now). But, the .2 update did not produce the disabling (with no re-enable capability other than delete and reinstall each and every one). When it happens again (from web searches, this has happened to many others in the past with sys updates (https://support.mozilla.org › en-US › kb › re-enable-add-ons-disabled-when-updating), for me though, there was no easy "link" or "re-enable" possibility (others have had the same too). Anyway, this LAST update did not touch my addons, so pleased with that, but still, it happened for so many years, I've committed to Opera now.
