Steps to reproduce:

1. Install Firefox Nightly (110.0a1) on Android 8.0.0
2. Start it by tapping on the icon

Actual results:

A white blank screen briefly appeared and then disappeared, and the mode of the device returned to where it started - i.e., the screen where the Firefox Nightly Icon was tapped.

Expected results:

Firefox Nightly Browser should have started up.

Thanks for reporting! Noting qe-verify to double check reproduction steps on our end. Assuming it's consistent, we'll want to look into how many users we have on Android 8.0.0 (and whether this crash affects all users or a specific subset)

Hello!
We were not able to reproduce this crash on the following devices:

• HTC 10 (Android 8),
• Motorola g6 (XT1925-5) (Android 8), and
• Samsung Galaxy S9 (Android 8).
  We have tested on a 110.0a1 build from a month ago, and on the latest Fenix Nightly.

Could you please provide more details regarding the exact build you have encountered this crash, and the device it happened?
