180837 - Clean up Disk Image/Installer apearance (size & pos. of icons + bg image)

increase size of images on disk image. currently they're 16x16px. should all
three be increased to 32x32, or just the main application icon?

also recall that chris had some suggest rewording of the text there...but don't
recall the details. chris...?

Actually, it looks more like they're 32 by 32 now. They should probably be 48 or
larger.

The background image designer may have intended that the icons fit entirely
within the height of the inner grey area, so you may want to allow that designer
the opportunity to modify the background image to accommodate a slightly larger
size if they like.

As long as you're messing with the installation window, you might want to move
its position further to the left. On an 800x600 display (e.g. original ibook)
the window goes off the right side of the screen.

In the 0.7 release, icons are 94x94 and the background image has been updated,
so someone should resolve this bug.

Not yet, in the latest nightly's the background image is gone and the window
size is bad (scrollbars). Let's fix that first?

Yeah, this is a build config/packaging issue... I don't know if pinkerton has
all the old scripts but this should probably be an 0.8 blocker thing... and it
be nice for this all to get documented so this doesn't happen again (or if the
box switches again things can easily be re-built)

morphing a bit to get this all cleaned up once and for all. Hope you don't mind

The only remaining problem at this date is that the window is too small. It
should be made a little larger to eliminate the scrollbar.

Package contains a new background image and a new layout screenshot. This
should take much time to creat.

The back image is smaller so we have a smaller dl size.
Included a direct reference to the localisations in the background graphic.

"Drag" as "Dag".

I do appreciate Jasper's time and effort creating this background image. Not
that I'm being totally anal here, but the image uses the word "Application"
instead of "Applications" meaning the "Applications folder". Should we change this ?

Needs a suitable .DS_Store, etc.  Camino packaging ought to be integrated like
toolkit's, also.  I'll be able to look at this soon.  See bug 257854, bug
283598.  Does someone (maybe Jasper?) want to come up with an .icns for the disk
icon?

mounted disk image, it's just a disk with the camino icon on the top.

Checked in, bug 302080.  You can get a pretty classy disk image for Camino by
making in camino/installer.  I'm leaving this bug open until the tinderbuilders
are updated to use the new packaging process.  I will update the build script
shortly.
