Hi, we (the add-ons team) are trying to be more consistent across all our repos on GitHub. We noticed that two repos don't have the right admin team (well, no team actually but just Andreas a.k.a. wagnerand on GitHub and :TheOne here).
Could you please add the addons-admin
team as an admin of the following repos:
- https://github.com/mozilla/webext-compat-tool
Andreas cannot do this at the moment, likely because the team isn't visible by default. Anyway, I'll let Andreas confirm this action in a comment below.

I confirm Andreas is an admin of those two repos, and thus is the right person to say "do it". I'll wait for that. (And midaired with his approval.) I've now set addons-admin as an admin of those repos.
But looking at that team - is it intentional that it be secret? As you note, that makes working with the team pretty difficult. Setting a Needinfo for Mathieu (a maintainer of the team) to verify that secret is the needed setting.

Do we have a policy at Mozilla for the visibility of admin groups ? I didn't set that (and I inherited my place in this group when my manager left a year ago). I don't particularly care as my involvement in these repos is already far from secret. Maybe Wei has an opinion on this though.

Looking at the mozilla github org for teams with "admin" in the title - the VAST majority are visible. And lots of the invisible ones have no members (likely orphaned due to age and that next to no one can see them)
So, I can't find signs of any policy, and I'm not aware of a push now ... and if you can't tell I'm sort of against it. For some security things it's good, but ... I don't think this is that - this is just "people who administer addons repos" ... which I mean, looking at the repos, and the people, there doesn't seem to be anything secret or sensitive there.
Happy to wait for Wei to give their opinion.
If we are talking about the https://github.com/orgs/mozilla/teams/addons-admin/members team, I don't have a preference for keeping it secret or not.
Thanks.

That's the one - and visible is the GH recommended. As you're a maintainer, and given that it's recommended - I've set it to visible.
If anyone needs that changed, we can certainly re-address it.
