In an effort to better capture user behavior on the first day, create a proposal for a custom ping covering:

  • what period of time is the "first day"?
  • what data needs to be collected to describe "utilization" on that first day?
    • what is the minimum amount of data?
    • what is the wishlist?
  • what conditions might trigger sending of this custom ping?

Do we have an analysis on the shortfalls of the current first session / first baseline pings (i.e. how slow they are to be received, and what data they are lacking)? Trying to understand what the gaps are there as a first step towards what we would want to fix with this new ping.
