User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:108.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/108.0

Steps to reproduce:

Move mouse towards the bottom of the screen to reveal the system dock (auto-hide turned on), and then move mouse out of the dock upwards into the active Firefox window.

Actual results:

After the dock is gone, the pointer that remains on the Firefox window looks like an up arrow. This happens only intermittently, while other times the pointer has its default shape.

Expected results:

After the dock is gone, the pointer should always remain in its default shape.

Bonus information:

  • I have recently both updated to macOS Ventura and to Firefox 108. I didn't have this issue on macOS Monterey combined with an earlier version of Firefox (not sure which).
  • While I'm not entirely certain it's a Firefox issue, I am having a hard time trying to reproduce it with other applications.
