Steps to reproduce:
Recorded and submitted 20 voice clips in CV website.
https://commonvoice.mozilla.org/en/speak
Actual results:
After about 20 recorded clips, the recordings contain loud cracks, stutter and echo effects described here (examples are here with captured audio)
https://github.com/common-voice/common-voice/issues/3307
Expected results:
When using Fenix browsers in combination with Common Voice website contributor can record voice clips without these effects!
With Vanadium browser (chromium based) this works.

Just curious, were you using a bluetooth headset, wired or the built in microphone while recording?
The clips recorded in this issue were recorded with the built in smartphone mic.
I re testet on the CV webpage and this issue still exist (recordings with many crackles, sounds like a very old record on playback)
Equipment used:
Google Pixel 6 pro(256GB)
Android14 GrapheneOS (alpha channel)
UQ1A.231205.015.2023121200
Firefox nightly android:
122.0a1 (Build #2015991719), f40f49a279+
GV: 122.0a1-20231214213857
AS: 122.20231214050346
The behaviour of this bug changed.
No echo or stutter effects any more.
But the loud cracks start immediately on replay after the contributor has recorded 5 voice clips in moz/cv website.

Thank you for the report!
I was able to reproduce the "cracks" issue on the latest Firefox for Android 123.0 build, and on Nightly 124.0a1 from 2/15, with a Google Pixel 6 (Android 14), and with Samsung Galaxy S24 (Android 14).
Not reproducible on a Realme GT Master Edition (Android 13).
