Steps to reproduce:
- Create an recurring event suppose weekly in following sequence 16Jan,23 Jan,30 Jan.6Feb and so on... and Add invites and click save and close
- Now go to 23rd Jan and not make any update and click save and close, mail will send
- Now again go to 23rd jan and not make any update and click save and close, mail will not send
Actual results:
In Point 2 above, if i havenot make any update and click save and close there should not be any mail send as its spamming.
Point 3 is working alright when you open the same date again
Expected results:
Should not send mail when there is no update on specific date

It kind of looks like you (or someone else) accepted the invite, and that's the modification?

Can you please let me know when can we expect this to be resolved?

You can create a local new calendar (and choose local calendar). Then try the same thing with that calendar.
