Bug: "clear cookies and site data..." in private window clears "wrong" data

Steps to reproduce:
- log into yahoo with your usual account details in a normal (non-private) window.
- open a private browsing session
- log into yahoo using your secondary (i.e. different) account
- select "clear cookies and site data..." from the padlock icon next to the address bar
- refresh page, notice yahoo still recognizes the private session's cookies
- go to the normal browser window copy of yahoo, press refresh, notice you are logged out of yahoo (while still logged into your 2nd account in the private window)

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Toolkit::Data Sanitization' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Thank you for sharing that issue with us.
We are already aware of this problem, unfortunately right now the behavior is that data clearing mechanisms all target the normal browsing data. I understand that this is not expected and probably confusing.
We do not offer a way to clear PB window data without closing the window yet. So closing the window is the only workaround I can offer to you, as soon as all PB windows are closed the storages will drop the data. Ideally we would like to support data clearing for PB windows without having to close the PB window. But a good first step is probably to just not show the data clearing option in PB windows.
