1811838 - Global search bar feature parity

The new global search bar doesn't quite do everything the old one used to. The so far is:

• Missing the autocomplete popup
• Doesn't accept contacts as a drop target
• Doesn't have a global keyboard shortcut (probably requires removing the old bar from the UI completely, currently still in the default set for chat)
