Before the recent update, a common workflow of mine was to
- focus an unread email
- if not interesting, or not actionable, press
Del
That would delete the conversation (that still happens), but more importantly it'd focus the next email (or the previous if the email is the last one), which allows me to rinse and repeat.
After the recent changes, Del
doesn't put the focus on any conversation, and it loses the position of the deleted conversation, so I need to mouse or arrow my way back to where I was, which is excruciating. I suspect it's just an oversight with the new implementation, but if it's intentional I'd appreciate knowing why :)
