I almost never use the search option, instead preffering to browse through my bookmarks to navigate to pages. When I open a new tab I want to quickly go to my bookmarks to select the page I want to visit from the list. But every new tab covers up the dot-menu button with some sort of search overlay. In order to get to my bookmarks I first have to press back, then open the menu, then click bookmarks and then get the list.
I know I can use the search bar to write the name of a bookmark and find it, but I often want to browse around my bookmarks to decide what I want to do next. I also don't always remember names and sometimes I want to go through bookmarks in a certain order.
Solutions to this problem would be to either add a button on the search pop-up that goes directly to the bookmark menu or to add an option to disable the search pop-up. It would also be nice to have a button in the regular toolbar to open the bookmarks menu, as many other mobile browsers have solved this.
