Steps to reproduce:

Tried to find things using the menus, but it's slow and you have to already know the organization of menus to discover features or config locations as a new users.

Actual results:

I couldn't quickly discover new features or keyboard shortcuts

Expected results:

Pretty much every application should have a VSCode-like command palette to discover commands or . Every OSX app has this

I know this isn't the right location, but the more essential or complicated an app is, the more its community & its prospective users can benefit from feature/command/api discoverability. VSCode makes this easy. Krita is an media-creation app with sleek UI/UX where you wouldn't expect to see this, but it works very well.

Thanks

Plus one on this, I would find a command palette very useful, for both commands and moving around the application. It would also help with accessibility, making difficult to reach / Tab to controls available in a single place.

It is not a small task, definitely, but would be a greay UX addition.

The dream: extension API to add commands 😎
