From github: https://github.com/mozilla-mobile/fenix/issues/25150.
Steps to reproduce
- Go to live.foli.fi
- Tap the "current location" button
- Close the browser
- Open the browser again
- Navigate back to live.foli.fi and tap the current location button
Expected behaviour
It should focus on the current gps location.
Actual behaviour
The site complains that it cannot get access to location. The permission has been set to denied. Changing it back to "allowed" from Firefox settings helps for a while, but after browser restart it is denied again.
I have only observed the problem to reproduce for this site only. Other sites work fine.

This happens with other sites as well, and without restarting FF.
When the default is set to not share location, web sites that require the user to be located within a certain geographical area due to regulation, licensing or security reasons, and check the location frequently, are completely unusable in FF since the permission keeps resetting to "denied" during the course of the browsing and the site kicks the user out.
No other browser exhibits this behaviour.

I reported similar behavior for this bug and it got merged with this bug report. According to this bug report, this bug has been left unfixed for approximately 2 years. Is it possible to have some one look at it and see if it can be fixed? I am forced to use Chrome when I need location services on the web.

Still broken, still no workaround, still very annoying.
