The browser in the mail3pane is special and should not follow the usual rule we enforce for links (which is same-site links are opened in TB, everything else opens in the user's browser)

We do not want to handle complex payment processing inside of Thunderbird.

Currently, the messsagemanagergroup is set to "browser", which opens all (!) links in that tiny preview area of the mail3pane window. Setting it to "same-page" will open all links (except links to extension pages) in the user's browser.
