Steps to reproduce:

I try searching for mails

Actual results:

Search works fine, but is really uncomfortable to use. It opens a new tab and following mails get also opened in a new tab, seperate from other mails. You have to close tabs manually afterwards.

Expected results:

The search should just work in the same window. Results can be highlighted, picked, moved above other mails (like sorting) and not opened in new tabs.

The search mechanism is just fine, but the GUI is really bad usable.

The quick filter toolbar does that pretty much. It's a different kind of search.

okay that is exactly what I would expect, but the advanced search is too much. Could this just be integrated as the normal search?
