From github: https://github.com/mozilla-mobile/fenix/issues/24826.

Ive been using the nightly fork of firefox ever since youtube vanced died but the one feature id like for firefox to have is the android 10 style media controls. On android 10 apps it has been super useful to control the video without needing to go back into the app everytime. Im wondering if something like that can be added to firefox.

My knowledge is that Fenix already provides media controls.

Thanks. I don't know what "Android 10 style" media controls are.

This Google blog post talks about Android 11 media controls in Android's Quick Settings panel. Is that the something different?

This should be renamed to "Add media control buttons in notification tray on Android", because this isn't a feature of the OS. Instead, it's a feature of the provider, even if dependent upon OS support.
