Steps to reproduce
- go to https://news.google.com/topstories?hl=de&gl=DE&ceid=DE:de
- Select an article from "Welt"
Expected behaviour
Bottom bar disappears on scroll and re-appears when I scroll up
Actual behaviour
The bottom bar disappears on scroll, a bottom banner shows up and the bar doesn't show up again when I scroll up.

I wasn't able to reproduce on an S22. Do we have a Pixel 3 XL to test on before I close?

I was not able to reproduce this issue, either. I tested on the latest nightly 122.0a1 from 12/5 with Google Pixel 3 XL (Android 9).
