When about:processes was developed, it was decided that the profile button would be enabled only in some channels. But it would be really useful to have it in all channels, so that our users can contribute profiles more easily.

When about:processes was developed, it was decided that the profile button would be enabled only in some channels.

At the time, the profiles generated through about:processes were often unusable. Now that bug 1735397 has been fixed, it should be fine to expose the feature more broadly.
