Tecken could do with an information view page. You give it a debug filename and a debug id and if the symbol file is in the system, it returns a page with the following information:
- HTTP link to file to download it
- file header (first line plus INFO lines)
- size of file
- size of file compressed
- upload information (when it was uploaded, who uploaded it, link to upload info page)
- maybe parse it with symbolic and display parse errors?
I have a script that I can run on my laptop that does some of this already, but I can't get the upload information because that's in the Tecken db.
Having an information page like this would help debug symbols files. It'd give us a link we can point to.

This page has some of the information in it:
https://symbols.mozilla.org/uploads/files/file/42330991
That information is from the db. It's missing information about the file itself. Also, the url sucks because it uses a table row id rather than debug filename/id which we can get from elsewhere. Finding the table row id requires us to search on the "all files" page which takes forever.

Another thing I want to know is whether the file in question has been re-uploaded and whatever data we have on the different uploads.

While it might be nice, with the state of the webapp it's easier to build a cli for it and iterate from there.
Regardless, I'm going to unassign myself from this because it's not something I'm going to do any time soon.
