The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Widget: Gtk' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Looks like a bug while VA-API video playback. Can you try to disable VA-API? see
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Firefox_Hardware_acceleration#Video_decoding
and set media.hardware-video-decoding.enabled to false at about:support.
After I disabled VA-API, the black rectangle box that appeared at random seemed to disappear, but it still appears when I scroll across Reddit and it didn't resolve the flickering problem.

Can you try to disable HW acceleration? At about:config set gfx.webrender.software to false and restart browser.
Thanks.
By default, gfx.webrender.software is false, and if I stop hardware acceleration, practically all of the issues are resolved, but Firefox returns to its previous state of being extremely sluggish and the CPU starts to go brr....
Thank you for responding; I hope somday it will get fixed...

That looks like gfx drivers bug.
Please report that at https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/issues and attach about about your distro/ffx card there (the one from https://pastebin.com/5hHEp6gK).
Thanks.
