Steps to reproduce:

1. Enable "Open links in apps".
2. Open a link that is set to open in another apps.

Actual results:

Firefox pops up every time asking me if I want to open it in another app.

Expected results:

Open it in another app without asking.

Yep this is a really annoying bug. Also in the latest beta (111.03b) Firefox is obnoxiously chatty about opening links in other apps.
My banking app sends a request to the default browser to browse to my digital ID which then let's me sign in securely and sends me back to the app.
This simple exercise was one click, biometric fingerprint and I was in my banking.
Now this is one click, another click to answer yes to Firefox about opening in another app, biometric fingerprint, and then another yes to Firefox to open in another app.

This has to be a bug. It can't possibly be supposed to be this irritating to browse between a browser and an app. Any app.

This is the expected behaviour. This is part of our effort to improve privacy on Fenix. There will be a follow up to let users choose if they don't want this prompt. This will be improved with https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1818085.
