1815761 - unread email disappeared when attachment is detached

Steps to reproduce:

incocnsistent behaviour of TB when showing only unread messages in main window :

• I have the preferences set to marking a new email as read to 2 seconds after showing it
• when only unread emails are shown by using the filter button (condition for all following comments)

Actual results:

• normally the email shown is staying in the list of inbox emails , even if it has been marked as read, as long as it is highlighted (which is the expected behaviour).
• when I forward this email (using the button), then it still stays visible
• when I put a label on the email, then it still stays visible
• however if I detach an attachment, then it disappears.

Expected results:

When showing only unread emails, the highlighted email should stay in the visible list, even when an attachment is detached.

That the email disappears from the list when detaching an attachment poses practical problems. If I would like to move the email after having detached an attachment, I need to switch the "only unread emails" quickfilter off and search the email in the complete inbox, among all already read emails (this includes remembering date, time, sender, object etc).

I guess this is due to the mechanism how an email is detached in TB (if I understand correctly this involves actually duplicating the email, and then deleting the original with the attachment).

But still, this is inconsistent behaviour and does not help when working through a pile of unread emails.

This is still the case with TB version 115.11.1
I would agree that this is perhaps not a bug, but for me a very unwelcome behaviour
