RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 511079

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/111.0

Expected results:

Currently, when sending an email, a box appears showing the status of the mail, until it sends successfully.

This usually takes perhaps up to 5 seconds or more, and the only reason why the user would want to see it is if he would want to cancel the email.

This whole process should immediately be sent to the background when clicking "send", and a small popup to the bottom left or right of the screen saying "cancel email" should appear, similar to how Gmail does it.

If sending the email fails, then a popup with the error appears.
