Thanks for reporting this. Unfortunately this report is not very useful because it does not describe the problem well. If you have time and can still reproduce the situation or problem, please read https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/page.cgi?id=bug-writing.html and add a more useful description to this report, including clear and complete steps to reproduce (step by step!) as a list which leaves no room for interpretation, plus in separate sections (!) what you expect to happen, and what happens instead, and how you installed Thunderbird (manually from Mozilla? via your distribution? Which package format?), and Linux distribution information. Thanks!

1. mark functions does not work. only direct in mail mark , but not row !

Spent a couple of minutes with my crystal ball and voilà - think I deciphered Walter's sparse and cryptic description.

Replace mark with tagging, and there's the bug!
Confirming for 111.0a1 (2023-02-13) (64-bit), Win10.

STR

1. Select a message
2. Tag the message with a tag (e.g. press 1 to tag Important)

Actual

• Message header in message preview gets the tag (ok)
• Corresponding row in the message list remains unchanged (black font, blue selection background) and does not indicate the tag by change of font and selection background color

Expected

• Corresponding row in the message list should indicate the tag by changing font and selection background color:
  • when selected: background color = tag color; font color = contrast color for tag color (e.g. white for Important's red)
  • when not selected: font color = tag color (e.g. red for Important)

Comment 0 is precisely the new bug summary - no visible change to the row.

ALso likely related, when a thread is collapsed and one of the messages is tagged, the collapsed thread has no color.

Forget about those versions - this needs to be tested with 112 this week.
