Using the jsfiddle to transfer files via the echo server seems to run slowing when sending data; ~2MB/s. (With the profiler, closer to 1MB/s with Networking profile)
When the server is sending us data, it seems several times faster

For a 7.5MB file, we send in 4.5s, and we receive it back in 1.25s. Of course server performance could be a factor, but I doubt it. This is on symmetric FiOS fiber 1Gbps, hardwired with GB ethernet.
Note: the same test with Chrome 105 is far slower; around 44s to upload.
New test with Kbps readings; we're around 1600-700KBps; chrome is around 200-300KBps. Download we're 6-8MBps, Chrome is around 6-15MBps
