first of all, thanksgiving is the 27th; second of all, it doesn't last a full
year. I really don't know why this happened, but I downloaded the "latest build"
for linux on nov 23 at 3pm. is it just a random nightly build thing?
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Right click event list
2. Create new event
3. Provide http://www.mozilla.org/projects/calendar/caldata/USHolidays.ics as
the event URL.
4. Enjoy
Actual Results:
Thanksgiving is every day, Christmas is twice on the same day..

Same thing happens with me. I'm using Mozilla Calendar 2002112213-cal
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.2) Gecko/20021126 on
Windows 2000.

The new version of Calendar does not know how to handle repeating events that
occur on the same day, i.e., Thursday of the same month each year.
Importing a calendar that has such an event, like the U.S. Thanksgiving,
Thanksgiving repeats on every day of the year. Deleting and then trying to re
add the event reveals that yearly events can repeat on a date, but there is no
provision for an event to repeat yearly on a day of the week as in "the last
Thursday of November."
This is using the latest build of Calendar as of 11/30/2002 on Mozilla 1.2

I don't see this issue either. I believe that at some point, either the holiday
or Calendar was fixed.

Summary: upon loading the US Holiday calendar from the calendar website, thanksgiving is listed as nov 22 2001 to nov 22 2002, and thus every day is thanksgiving → US Holiday calendar shows Thanksgiving from November 22, 2001 to November 22, 2002
