Error Msg: C:\Windows\TEMP\a4wugo8a.exe could not be saved because the source
file could not be read. Try again later or contact the servr admin. [Download
worked fine with IE 6.0] 

I had a similar problem with the Real Player plug-in.
C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\p6o2zaqx.exe could not be saved because the source file could
not be read. Try again later or contact the servr admin.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Using Mozilla, go to the Netscape.com plug-in page and follow the links.
2. Test for installed plug-ins.
3. Choose to download a missing one.

Actual Results:  
Error dialog box popped up with the exact message you see above and an "OK" button.

Expected Results:  
I expected a download dialog box.

delete compreg.dat and restart Mozilla.
Fixed in 1.2 nightly build: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/nightly/latest-1.2
