The download of any file simply doesn't work. Always the same message. From
anywhere.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. search a file (e.g. www.download.com)
2. chose to download it
3. here it is the error
Actual Results:
it opens the error window with a message like this:
c:\doc|TEMP\34234434b.exe could not be saved, because the source file could not
be read.
Expected Results:
start download manager
newly intalled XP professional, last rev of Java (1.4), clean system, never worked.
in the previous OS (Win2000) i had 1.2a, this is the first install of 1.2b for me.

delete compreg.dat and restart Mozilla
or upgrade to latest 1.2 build:
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/nightly/latest-1.2
