User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Android 10; Mobile; rv:109.0) Gecko/110.0 Firefox/110.0

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Make sure your browser is set to allow no automatic video playback whatsoever, by any means the browser provides.
  2. Go to any YouTube video, like https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=JnKzt6Xq-w4 for example. It should not start playing.
  3. Tap on a link on that page. E.g. a commenter’s user name. (Which is of course always easy to happen accidentally, with how fuzzy touch screen touch detection is.)
  4. Tap the back button (e.g. Android’s built-in one at the bottom of the screen.)

Actual results:

The video will start playing back, and if on mobile data (esp on fast connections), start downloading and buffering large amounts of data in very short times, possibly using up the last of the data volume you hat left.

Expected results:

Because automatic playback was disabled, the video should of course not have started to play automatically. No matter how much Google wants it. :)
