In Chimera/2002112504, the contextual menu for text in the location field includes the standard Spelling and Font submenus, as well as the Learn/Ignore Spelling commands when text is selected. None of the commands in either of these menus do anything, nor would enabling them be useful in the URL bar since you shouldn't be able to change the text style in that field, and the spell checker isn't applicable to URLs. The Speech submenu and the Cut, Copy, and Paste commands work fine.
fwiw, i was able to Check Spelling and bring up the system font and color pickers from the urlbar's context menu. however, i think these menu items are expected, since the urlbar actually uses the cocoa native text widget (unlike the textfields in the content area). marking this invalid --though i'm not sure why all of the context menu items aren't working (or perhaps they're just not properly disabled, like the text style ones).

Do we need to set a flag to say that the url bar is not styled text? Maybe that will eliminate the style and color items?? I also notice that I can paste styled text in here, and see style sometimes.
You can bring up the color picker (or set bold, italic, etc.), but it won't actually change anything.
