User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/109.0
Steps to reproduce:
Using Kubutu 22, with the snap Firefox preinstalled.
Actual results:
Keep getting this notification, "Pending update of 'firefox' snap. Close the app to avoid disruption (X day(s) left".
Not only have I closed the app, I've rebooted the machine several times. The notification keeps appearing, with a decreasing number of days.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Widget: Gtk' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Sounds very much like a snapd issue ? Clearly not something in our control.
It's a snapd issue indeed, the problem is being worked on, you can read about it on https://ubuntu.com/blog/snaps-better-refresh-notifications
the issue is mainly that the refresh isn't retried several hours later and not when you close firefox, we are working on fixing that. Meanwhile you can do 'snap refresh firefox' after closing it

Amin, do you have some upstream issue to share?
I believe LP#1980271 is the upstream issue.

On the upstream issue the bug is marked as fixed, it's now just a matter of flowing to release.
