User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.2b) Gecko/20021016
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.2b) Gecko/20021016
Example: I receive an email with an attached JPEG image, and the message body contains tons of useless text (e.g. forwarded headers from previous senders). I want to forward this picture to someone, but omit all the garbage text from the message body. So when i forward it, i delete all the garabage text from the message. But when the message gets sent, it still contains all the text i deleted. See steps below for more specific conditions...
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. set forwarding to Inline and compose format to Text
2. receive a message with body text and an attachment
3 [review]. begin forwarding
4. after entering the recipients, use "Select All" function to select all the text in the body, and then delete it with the DELETE key. Do not type any text in the body.
5. send the message
Actual Results:
The message will get sent with the text you deleted in step 4 above
Expected Results:
The deleted text should not have been included in the message. This bug can potentially cause embarrassment!
-- the message being forwarded has to have an attachment
-- this bug does not occur when message compostion is set to HTML
-- a workaround to prevent the bug is to type something in the message body before sending the message
-- i have observed this behavior under Windows XP and Redhat Linux 7.3 (KDE3)

Please try a recent build. The one from October 16th was very bad.

I tried yesterday's build:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20021125
and could not recreate the problem. Thanks, and sorry to trouble you.
