Details

The address book has an option "use display name instead of name from header".

That works for displaying the name (in the folder pane and message pane), but not with the quick filter.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Have an e-mail with the Header "From: jnd@example.org" in the inbox.
  2. Create an address book entry with name "John Doe", e-mail address "jnd@example.org", and set the option "use display name instead of name from header".
    => The message list shows "John Doe" as sender.
  3. Type "Doe" in the quick filter bar.

Expected: the message from jnd@example.org (which is displayed as "John Doe" only) is part of the filtered message list.
Actual: That message is not part of the filtered message list.
