User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20021120 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20021120 I set my computer clock for the year 2100 and then I tried to download a file. It did not work. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Run Mozilla. 2. Set system clock to 2099 and let it roll over to 2100. 3. Try to download something. Actual Results: The Download Manager opens with no status. Expected Results: The Download Manager should open with status. I did not find duplicates with "clock download date", "clock download", or "download date". The download properties also do not work. The files do download even thought the status is not shown. This issue could be related to the 2038 bug. Further testing is necessary to see if it is the 2038 bug that causes this. However, I would think that I would get JavaScript errors and I do not.
Also, when the downloads do finish, the file sizes appear in the Download Manager.
expected date for the fix : 2061 :-)
The target milestone will definitely be sometime in the future, so I am marking this bug as such.
Target Milestone: --- → Future
don't touch the target milestone unless you are the assignee One of Bug 188396 and Bug 188398 probably causes this bug.
Target Milestone: Future → ---
this *might* be fixed now that the two bugs I mentioned are fixed, at least on windows. could you retest with a build from today (feb 25)?
I tested build 2003030408 and this appears to be fixed. Correct me if this should be WFM instead.
